Something on your mind? ? ? :-)

If you would like to leave a comment to tell me what you like or if you would like to share an experience you have had, have suggestions for new adventures, or would just like to share what's on your mind, please feel free to do so! I would really, really love to hear any feedback you would care to offer!

Happy Mother's Day!

A couple of years ago . . . errmm, . . . well, ok . . . maybe a f-e-e-e-e-w-w-w-w more than a couple . . . my Mommy was presented with the most wonderful Mother's Day present!   It was her very favorite one . . I'm sure of it!   ;)

Isn't this baby just the cutest?  (You must say yes, or my poor little ego will get bruised!)

It was my Mommy's very first Mother's Day present.  (pssst . . .  do you remember, mommy?  **waiving and blowing kisses at mommy**)

And here is a lovely blue and white (or is that purple and white? ? ?) splashed iris for mom . . . it's one of her favorite flowers . . .  It's the first one I've grown . . . the others are of flowers I snapped several years ago on my trip to Canada.

I got to visit the Butchart Gardens and they were simply lovely.  I would dearly love to go back some day.  Perhaps I'll post more pics of them one of these days.  If you ever get up to Vancouver Island you must stop to see them!

And here are some purple petunias for my grandmother.  Every time I see them, I am reminded of her.  I remember she seemed to have a sea of them at her pink house.

Happy Mother's Day to my mommy and to all the other moms out there!

Here you go, mom!  Enjoy! ! !

  1. Thank You very much daughter. This was really nice, and also nice talking to you on the phone. We had a quiet day, weather was gorgeous and we just didn't want to go anywhere so we just stayed home and enjoyed the day. Had several calls and got 4 or 5 Mother's Day that was nice. Yes...that is a cute little girl....wonder who she is??? Ha! Ha!
The song "Honeycomb" by Jimmie Rodgers was playing on the radio as I lay in the hospital. Funny the things you remember! Later...Love ya...Mom

  2. You're very welcome, mommy! ! ! I found the song on YouTube and included it for you! Love you, too! ! ! ! :)

  3. Aw! You precious little thing... :)
Oh the Iris it makes for such a show in the garden. Blues, purples just stunning.
You always capture your images with perfection my dear.

  4. :) Yes, that's the way to help boost my fragile ego, Rosemary! ;) Thanks for dropping by! :)
